Both ends of the single-level Surfliner trainset. Multiple exposures for each with just a small dose of HDR processing.

That's almost like a painting! That area sure has changed over the years.

Thats what I thought like painting , fine photo .

Sand in the fuel tank to keep the center of gravity as low as possible.
And it's used as a "Cab Car" when the train is in Push mode.

I believe this is the first photo of a P42 that actually makes it look good. I have never before thought much good about the design of them, especially since I grew up with E-8/9s and PAs.

Looks like the Protect Loco was being used. Problems with 184?
