Date: 03/30/15 13:04 Re: LA Light Rail Collision With Car Injures 21 Author: DNRY122 I think it's easy for reporters who are not that knowledgeable about the local railway operations to get "Metrolink" (the diesel powered suburban rail service) and "Metro Rail" (the electric transit system run by the same entity that runs the majority of buses in LA County) confused. It's like the folks who think that General Motors-backed National City Lines was responsible for the disappearance of the Pacific Electric Red Cars, when NCL subsidiary LA Transit Lines bought out the LA Railway narrow gauge "Yellow Car" system from the Huntington estate.
