Why are there bear paw prints on this AMTRAK cab control car? Look to the lower left of the door and center right of the door.

Several years ago Amtrak let its maintenance facilities put decals on equipment assigned to them. The Bear car shop had the bear paws. Philadelphia had a Liberty Bell. Miami had a tarpon. I forget the rest. You'd see them on all the trains you'd ride. And, typically for Amtrak, as with the "Big Game" diesel, nothing ever gets removed.
