Passenger Trains > NS shut down for police action south of Alexandria

505pm EDT:

> All rail traffic is stopped south of Burke Centre due to police
> activity. Manassas Line Train #327 (Departs Union Station 3:45pm) is
> currently stopped south of Burke Centre and Manassas Line Train #329
> (Departs Union Station 4:25pm) is currently en route to Rolling Road
> and will hold at Burke Centre.

512pm EDT:

> Manassas #327 has completed its run and is at Broad Run. It will operate
> as Manassas #338 northbound but will stop south of the police activity.
> It may affect later Manassas trains as well.

524pm EDT:

> Police have cleared the scene, rail traffic resuming and we do not expect any
> more delays due to this issue. Manassas #329 is currently 15 minutes late
> en route to Manassas Park.

Looks like Amtrak 171 Boston to Lynchburg Regional was delayed 26 minutes because of this.  Number 19 the Crescent was not delayed.
