Iowa Pacific in the rain
Author: Mastadon

Iowa Pacific ran a deadhead move of their recently repainted former NJ Transit GP40FH-2 with a trio of E8/E9 motors and a pair of former MARC coaches from Janesville, Wisconsin to their storage facility in Bensenville, Illinois. The weather really swirled the drain as the train rolled westward on CP's Elgin Subdivison at Franklin Park. The upcoming takeover of the Hoosier State and an upcoming passenger special later in the month were some of the reasons for the special move.

Still drying off...

Thanks, see it was a lot later than I thought.  Can't tell,  were the coaches painted??  Good thing that scoot got out of the way.

Nope. Neither the former IC 101 nor the former MARC coaches were painted while up in Horicon..
