Various news sources have identified the engineer of Train 188 as Brandon Bostian.  A simple Google query of Brandon's name returns various postings on our web site.   While I have always done everything in my power to protect our members privacy, in this instance it was the member’s intent not to hide behind an anonymous name.   We have received a number of emails from our membership asking for us to remove any reference to the member.  It would not make a difference as nearly all of his postings are indexed and cache'd by Google.  Even if we removed them, anyone could still read them using the Google search engine. Further, Trainorders.com will not release any information beyond what is publicly accessible through our web site in compliance with our privacy policy. 

I would like to add that I encourage our visitors not to reach a judgement until all the facts are in.
