It is reminiscent of (on a much larger scale) a Continental Airlines DC-10 airliner
which, for a joint route shared with Garuda International (Indonesia), wore a Continental
paint scheme on one side, and a Garuda scheme on the other.  The two met right dead
center on the nose, which looked rather strange, an effect that Portland Streetcar has
deftly avoided!
