Update:  At this time the travel freeze from Baltimore to Perryville has been lifted and the tracks have been cleared for safe operation.  Normal service will resume between Baltimore and Perryville; please expect minor delays as trains are released in their scheduled order in both directions.

Wilmington railroad radio net says it is a minor derailment of a piece of track equipment, which was being cleaerd up maybe before 6pm.  Yes, some thrains were held in various places until tracks were made available to pass or it was cleared up.
