Amtrak #4 at Winslow.  Friday morning.   Odd stuff at both ends.   Anyone familiar with the "promotion" cars on the tail end?

pv's on a charter perhaps, houston based cars

Patrick Henry based in Houston.

Have had the pleasure of riding on Patrick's cars--very fine first class operation in all aspects.  Cars spend a great deal of the warmer months based out of Kansas City at KCUS.

I guessing the Patrick Henry Cars use the Sunset Limited to go around country?

The Patrick Henry cars recently made a round trip from KC to LA .  Don't know what the poster means
in regards to The Sunset Limited. They go wherever business takes them.

I was guessing if they usethe Sunset Limited route often.
Because the PV Cars are based in Houston. And I just wonder
how they get to and from homebase. Since the Sunset Limited is
the only Amtrak Train to service Houston.
