07 mins. late leaving Detroit but 2 hrs., 40 mins. late at Dearborn

Cut in of the new CP Mort was to begin at 500am.

Amtrak 351 was scheduled through Dearborn (near location of CP Mort) at
653am.

Judge for yourself what the effect will be, of running a train through a location where
a major signal cut-in is taking place.

Effective 5:00 AM Tuesday, October 6, 2015 the following
changes at CP Mort to CP Mort will take place.

Signal 2E at Mort will move West ward from the current
location East of Dearborn station to West of Dearborn
station. 2E at Mort will have high definition LED bulbs
and will be positioned on a cantilever. Signal 2E will
move 3180’ MH 9.9 Signal. 2E at Mort will display the
following aspects in accordance with NS Operating Rules:

Rule 319 Stop Signal
Rule 318 Restricting
Rule 314 Approach
Rule 309 Approach Medium
Rule 306 Clear

Signal 2WA at Mort will move West ward from the current
location East of Dearborn station to West of Dearborn
station. 2WA at Mort will have high definition LED bulbs
and will be positioned on a cantilever. Signal 2WA will
move 2080’ MH 9.7 Signal. 2WA at Mort will display the
following aspects in accordance with NS Operating Rules:

Rule 319 Stop Signal
Rule 318 Restricting
Rule 314 Approach
Rule 306 Clear

Signal 2WB at Mort will move West ward from the current
location East of Dearborn station to West of Dearborn
station. 2WB at Mort will have high definition LED bulbs

Switch # 1 at Mort will move West ward from the current
location East of Dearborn station to West of Dearborn
station. Point of switch (POS) will move 3172’ MH 9.85
Signal. The new #1 switch will be 384’ east MH 10.0
MH 9.10 Greenfield Village Hand Operated Switch will
now be governed under NS Rule 183
