Train 14 rolls north of Santa Barbara at Milepost 343 with a load of Thanksgiving travelers and a friendly wave from the engineer on Wednesday afternoon.

Amtrak, UP and Portland & Western crews generally give us workers and visitors friendly waves and toots as they pass the Oregon Rail Heritage Center is SE Portland.  These are greatly appreciated by our visitors, young and older as well as us workers.   Thanks to all in the cabs!     Arlen
