Passenger Trains > Sunday morning Hoosier StateDate: 11/30/15 07:10 Sunday morning Hoosier State Author: Contax645 Amtrak's #851 train, the Hoosier State scoots north through St. John, Indiana via the former Monon on a quiet Sunday morning. November 29, 2015.
It's great to see or ride this train when I can. Gary R Clark Griffith, Indiana Date: 11/30/15 07:25 Re: Sunday morning Hoosier State Author: stuporchief Really nice photo. Can't quite tell if there are three or four cars in the consist?

Otherwise, of course, it's not significant transportation or public asset. It probably has about one year to go. Sunday is not the busiest travel day of the year; that would typically be the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. This year it seems that the busiest travel day of the year was in August, eclipsing Thanksgiving Eve. Date: 11/30/15 09:25 Re: Sunday morning Hoosier State Author: Carondelet stuporchief Wrote:

The smooth side ACF former UP coach DYERSBURG is right behind and hides in the profile of the GP40FH's. And I'll revise my comment to ONE of the busiest travel days of the year. Date: 11/30/15 13:26 Re: Sunday morning Hoosier State Author: bnsfsd70 I just shot this train for the first time last Friday up in Dyer. Really nice looking train, and the accomodations looked pretty good as well from what I could see.
