yeah let those railroads fend for themselves ... who rides trains these days anyway ... freight is down to just a skeleton service ... 99.99999999999% of consumer goods and manufacturing ladings get transported by trucks ... Funny. In 1971, there were folks who told me the Amtrak had taken over the railroads because of competition by the airlines. They were shocked to hear it didn't include freight service. |
