Passenger Trains > Consists for extra passenger trains for Super 50

Hope that some folks can lend a hand in advising, number of cars that Capital Corridor handled,   ACE,  and  that Cal train handled.  All services provided extra trains in both directions.

Web site shows Cal train ready with extra sets to operate as they fill up after game time.  VTA handled an estimated 9500 passengers from Mountain View on light rail and bus routes connecting from Cal Train.

Some of us are consist freaks not just what pulls the trains.

Max number of cars I saw on Caltrain trains was 6 (normal is 5, except for those trains with the "baby bullet" style of coaches, for which normal is now 6).

Caltrain estimate was 4000-5000 transfers to VTA this morning/early afternoon at Mountain View.

Caltrain ran a 2 train set, coming through at 12:15 southbound at Santa Clara.  Two complete trains, with one loco head end, second loco mid train (part of the 2nd 6-car train).
