Passenger Trains > Business Class Seats On Coast StarlightDate: 02/10/16 16:40 Business Class Seats On Coast Starlight Author: train671 This time of year where onboard (Coast Starlight) are the Business Class seats located? Thanks in
advance for your help. Date: 02/10/16 19:38 Re: Business Class Seats On Coast Starlight Author: silvercomet I rode No. 14 on 22 Jan and the Business class was between the Diner and the Observation Lounge.

An Observation Lounge is an end of train car, with a view to the rear.....there are basically three types....open platform (back porch), teardrop (rounded end), and blunt end (squared off). As a big fan of observation cars, I guess the misuse of the term bothers me more than most folks. AA

Joe public doesn't know or care about the distinction.

Was it an entire car or just part of a coach. How did it differ from coach. JBWX Date: 02/10/16 22:24 Re: Business Class Seats On Coast Starlight Author: cajon On #11 Febuary 05 they had 5 people getting off in LA and most of the trip from Portland to LA was 10 people at the most I saw in the car. They have 1 coach attend that is just for the business car.

Chris Date: 02/11/16 09:43 Re: Business Class Seats On Coast Starlight Author: cajon Yes the bottom seats in the car were leather but not the top. Only saw one person seating in the bottom.
