Passenger Trains > Four P42s on 5(22)Date: 06/23/16 14:34 Four P42s on 5(22) Author: GenePoon California Zephyr 5(22) picked up the two units that took the IDTX Siemens Chargers to Pueblo.
Now running with AMTK 14, 198, 119, 152. Date: 06/23/16 14:54 Re: Four P42s on 5(22) Author: andersonb109 So if two crap out they still might have enough to make it to California. I wonder how long it took them to add the locos?

Sad part is, with the trackplan that Amtrak agreed would be sufficient for their needs, it would be impossible. So Amtrak knows that expansion is never going to happen. UP is taking them down on an MNYPU according to reports. For sure, the Chargers were spotted, still in Denver, this afternoon. I rode the train often, and the CZ schedule made this train to Vegas somewhat inconvenient to many. Knowing the real world that the frimbo's refuse to accept, that train ain't comin back.
