Sadly, the oldest living sleeping car porter, Lee Wesley Gibson, passed away last week. He was 106 years young. Here is a link to a narrated slide show and moving tribute to his life:

The LA Times article from 2010 was very informative abut Mr Gibson's life and pride in his job.  Thanks for sharing the link

I can only imagine all of the stories he had to tell at one time or another.
