Amtrak Heritage 145 on Capitol Corridor

Caught the Amtrak 145 Phase III heritage unit on the Capitol Corridor today.

1-2. Leading 741 at Alviso Marina County Park, just north of San Jose.
3. Laying over in San Jose

Thanks for the catch! Amtrak Oakland guys seem to know how to capture the heritage units. They pulled the same stunt with the AMTK 184, and AMTK 66, and possibly the others, too.

I got the AMTK 145 at Alviso, too, when it was held prisoner in the Capitol Corridor service several years ago.

They also got 822 for a while at least once that I can think of. We had it for the first trip of the Snow Train (the Reno Fun Train's weekday counterpart) back in 2013, and then it had traction motor issues, and was swapped out for a standard P42. Following repairs, it was used on the Capitol Corridor trains for a bit before eventually heading out on the Zephyr.
