Passenger Trains > Sierra Hotel PV Trip w/ Charter Wire CarsDate: 07/26/16 08:59 Sierra Hotel PV Trip w/ Charter Wire Cars Author: sethamtrak On Sunday the 24th I was along with the crew of the Sierra Hotel bound for MSP, although I had to get off in Milwaukee to get back home by Monday morning. Nice ride with a torrential downpour in Sturtevant, IL and two dark signals in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This resulting in a 15 minute late arrival into Milwaukee. When I got off in Milwaukee I saw two Charter Wire cars returning from a quick overnight trip/stay in St. Paul. Charter Club and St James Place were on the rear of Amtrak 8 into CHI on the 24th. I will be making a video that will be on YouTube sometime this week. The video will be on my YouTube channel with the link down below.
You will notice the dumhead is missing, its being cleaned and LED's will be installed in the well behind the head. It will be brighter than the 3 bulbs from what I understand. 1. Sierra Hotel in Union Station just before departure. 2. Sierra Hotel Dome 3. The Drumhead on display by Steve! Pleasing the railfans! Seth- www.youtube.com/user/sethamtrak. Date: 07/26/16 09:02 Re: Sierra Hotel PV Trip w/ Charter Wire Cars Author: sethamtrak 1. Charter Club
2. St. James Place 3. Jim the Charter chef and stweard waiting for Amtrak station work to complete so he can pop the trap and let the Charter Family off during a second stop/spot. Date: 07/26/16 09:04 Re: Sierra Hotel PV Trip w/ Charter Wire Cars Author: sethamtrak 1. Same as last ^
2. Passing Rondout 3. Amtrak 8 Departs You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! Date: 07/26/16 18:25 Re: Sierra Hotel PV Trip w/ Charter Wire Cars Author: czephyr17 Thanks, I look forward to your video!
