Passenger Trains > San Joaquin train #715Date: 07/26/16 21:07 San Joaquin train #715 Author: Valleyman Amtrak train #715 has been broken down near Orwood,CA ( about 10 miles west of Stockton, CA) since 17:45 this evening. Maintance employees from Oaland arrived about 19:30 but were unable to fix the issue. Amtrak train #717 is now hooked up to the disabled #715 to drag both consists to Oakland. In the process #717 is having issues as well. As of 21:00 both trains are still at Orwood. Crews are reporting passengers are quite upset!

trains MOVING at about 50MPH westbound as of 9:25 PM PDT JULY-26-16 Tuesday. http://asm.transitdocs.com/ --------------------- YIKES the rescue train also Broke down too ???? That is one train that I am glad I am NOT on. My sympathys and thoughts go out to the pax and train crews on both trains. Course it means forces that WORK and not sleep, as well as Supervisiont.
