Passenger Trains > Deep Woods Railfanning 3, Adirondack Scenic

Trekked up to Big Moose, NY today to grab a few pictures of the Adirondack Scenic.

Anyhow, two trains ran to Big Moose today: Thendara-Big Moose (24 miles round trip) & Utica-Big Moose (128 miles round trip).

Here are some views of both trains:

1) Northbound, 1 mile south of Big Moose, 10:29 this morning.

6) The Utica train appears, 12:30, northbound 1.9 miles south of Big Moose, NY.

8) Heading back to Utica after passengers ate lunch in an eatery located in the former Big Moose NY Central passenger station, 1:45.

          Have not ridden this one but the photos are very similar to the Branson Scenic. All you can see out the window is trees and rocks 8 feet away. . . . . all the way.
