Who has enjoyed taking sunsets from the window of a train? Share yours here.  I'll start with sunset last night, 9/24, from Silver Meteor #98 in SE Georgia.

Uncle Joe, I'd say in SE Georgia. It was totally dark by the time we got to Charleston.

Maybe NE Georgia, here is your train going through Folkston,  It was still pretty light out.  Nice sunset photo.

So that was you, RF&P fan! I saw you there.

Yes, definitely north of Folkston, and past Savannah as well.   I guess I call that whole area southeast, thnking about up around Athens as NE.

Yeah, I've logged in a few hours around Folkston!  Hope you had a nice trip.  I'm going to miss those old diners, I'm trying to catch them while I can.

Of course, once you get past Savannah, you are no longer in Georgia.  I have a good friend in Savannah who considers anyone that lives north of the Georgia/South Carolina line a "Yankee"...LOL!

I enjoy aggravating him by referring to the "March to the Sea" as General Sherman's "Urban Renewal Project".
