Passenger Trains > Zephyr Detour

This may be too early to inqure, but for the purpose of planning I am going to ask it anyways.

Has anyone heard of any new information about the California Zephyr Detours because of trackwork in October on the usual route?

If you try booking for some Colorado stops such as Winter Park and Granby a notice comes up for October 10-14. I am wondering if there is any solid information confirming a reroute?

I have a few days of vacation that I need to make a trip out of. This would be a good one to do that with.

Believe Amtrak trains 5 & 6 will detour to allow UP to perform Moffat Tunnel track work during the October dates you've mentioned (October 10-14, 2016).  Track window subject to change.

I plan on doing the same if this detour really happens.  Never been over that route.
