Passenger Trains > A Few from On Board This Year's AAPRCO Train

I've finally had a chance to go through pics from this year's AAPRCO convention train trip. Here are a few taken from the train to go along with those previously posted by the many linesiders we saw along the way. Anyone who loves passenger trains should take one of these trips if they have the chance. Space is sold my many of the individual car owners and is listed on the AAPRCO web site. Next year's trip is to Burlington, VT. The trips are great for rare mileage collectors, or anyone who likes vintage passenger cars with good food and service that goes way beyond what Amtrak can offer. While the trips aren't cheap, if you compare the cost per day with VIA's Canadian, it's not really any higher, and about the same as flying Business Class to Europe which is only a few hours!  First photo is somewhere in Wyoming west of Casper. Second is the spectacular Wind River Canyon. Last is the climb out of Helena to Missoula.
