Official run of the Galveston Texas Chief Sunday, Oct 2nd

The Galveston Texas Chief will run this weekend from Galveston to Brenham, TX as part of Galveston Railroad Days. The sold out train includes 215 passengers on the Museum passenger cars and Amtrak car,  90 First Responders from local law agencies on the BNSF Business Cars, and Board of Directors, Railroad officials and news media on Patrick Henry Creative Promotions PV cars.
The train will include the Museum's replica Santa Fe Warbonnet locomotives and BNSF freight locomotive.The route will be along the old Santa Fe Texas Chief departing Galveston at 9:00 a.m. arriving Brenham at 12:00 p.m. Arrival back to Galveston will be 3:30 p.m.  If you ar ein the area we hope to see you in galveston or trackside along the way.

Is this to be part of the event too?  Caught them at Tower 71 in Houston today.  Cars are Cheyenne, Texas Eagle, and Challenger.  Dan
