Passenger Trains > 29(19) & 3(20)Date: 10/20/16 13:17 29(19) & 3(20) Author: Herb5420 On the final leg of my 3-legged trip. Completed 29(19) today 4:30 late. As far as I can tell, it was all due to freight traffic. Spent about an hour sitting outside Connellsville, another hour sitting outside of Pittsburg and about an hour and a half before Toledo. Not much fun being that late, but the crew was all very accommodating. Cliff was my sleeper guy and he was good - attentive and responsive, but not intrusive. Diner staff was also good. In spite of the lateness, it was a good experience.
The late 29 meant I didn't get to spend much time in the new Metropolitan Lounge. It's very nice, but they need to revise their signage - there's no signs to help you find the new one yet. Inside, it's very nice - upgraded snacks (fresh veggies, etc) and the usual soft drink options. Seating is very comfortable and the whole space is open and light. My final leg 3(20) left on time and so far so good. The Chief is a reliably good ride, but I'm looking forward to getting home to KCY.
