transitdocs adding Canada?
Author: ORNHOO

I just looked at asm.transitdocs.com and noticed some interesting changes, Amtrak Routes are now shown as blue lines instead of red and VIA routes are shown as yellow lines. No symbols for the actual VIA trains are displayed as yet.

Upon further review...The changes only show up when I look at the page using Google Chrome, viewed on Safari everything reverts to its original appearance:  route lines in red and no Canadian routes.

Just looking at the site tonight I noted that the header now reads "Amtrak/Via Location map", and indeed Canadian trains are showing up.

Google Chrome Version 53.0.2785.143 m

There really aren't many LD trains left in Canada, are there.

Actually not doing too bad considering the population of Canada is less than California.

On a per capita basis.....VIA carries roughly the same number of passengers per year as does Amtrak.
(Canada’s population is slightly more than 1/10th that of the United States)

In 2015
VIA: 3.8 million passengers (Canada’s population: 36 million)
Amtrak: 31 million passengers (US population: 321 million)

And there is no need for VIA to run an extensive network of long distance trains as most of Canada’s population is located within a couple of hundred miles of the US border and most of that in VIA’s Ontario-Quebec Corridor where they do operate a fairly extensive network of trains. (Note...that screen shot above is at 3am so none of VIA's corridor trains are shown)

VIA trains showed up intermittently for a few days after this was first posted, but for the last week or so there has been nothing but anotice that "VIA data feed unavailable". Anyone know what's up?
