Passenger Trains > A Chase of Amtrak Train 14 on a Tehachapi Detour, Part 3Date: 10/22/16 13:25 A Chase of Amtrak Train 14 on a Tehachapi Detour, Part 3 Author: MartyBernard I ended my chase at the ex-SP depot at Bakersfield. It must have been a really neat place in its hayday. Here are 5 photos.
Crews were changed at Bakersfield but it was not a passenger stop. UP 841, a GP38-2, looked on. As a reminder, the Amtrak power was AMTK 67 and 20, both P42DCs. Enjoy, Marty Bernard Edited 1 time(s).
