First Snow & Across A Trestle: Adirondack Scenic, Kayuta Lake, NY

It was a raw morning indeed: 37 degrees and a rain/snow mixture in the Adirondack Mountain community of Forestport, NY. The snow was the first of the season.

Regardless, I trekked up north to catch Adirondack Scenic's run from Utica-Thendara, NY.

Here are three pictures showing the train approaching, then crossing, the trestle over Kayuta Lake.

This line was once part of New York Central's Adirondack Division.
