One Jolly Fisherman went down to Amsterdam...
Author: JPB

Don't know if this was Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob but as I was setting up to photograph Amtrak 48, the Lake Shore Limited, running about an hour late at Lock 10 on the Mohawk River, this jolly fisherman came speeding up and stopped in front of me to make a few more casts before he entered the lock to continue further down river. Photo 1 shows 48 splitting the signals as the lures fly past the 2nd sleeper while photo 2 captures train and culprit. But, like a fungus, photo 2 is starting to grow on me...

That fisherman standing up in the boat has a tenuous perch.
