Wes Anderson film fans?
Author: webmaster

I came across this fun little Christmas passenger train short directed by Wes Anderson.  In the story the train is running 11+ hours late on Christmas and the crew goes out their way to make the passengers comfortable.   Wes Anderson wrote and directed some recent memorable films such as Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, and Fantastic Mr. Fox.  His films are always quirky and have a style that is unlike any other film.

I love the California Zephyr-esque font on the car sides. Great film and holiday short.

I love the car too..... I would call them Superduperliner.   From memory, Wes uses trains quite a bit in his movies. They make a great setting for story telling.
