Newton 2 trains & a bus
Author: mp51w

The Oklahoma City thruway bus lays over on Main St. at the West end of the depot, as #3 arrives.
#3's power sits just across Main St. by a green signal.
20 minutes later #4's baggage car is lit up by the street lights East of the depot.

The Newton depot christmas lights display on the streetside, complete with water tank!
No stop at Newton is complete until you got to Druber's all night donut shop @ 2 blocks from the depot.
I might mention all the platform and station work being done. New signage posts have been installed.
Inside, they are actually putting the ticket office back to its original location!

Except for the Superliner and MCI bus, it could be a 1950's scene out of "Back to the Future". Very quant.

Great question.  I haven't heard much news on how this service is doing, but I may have occasion to use this service in a couple months.

I'll guess that it is averaging 6 to 12 passengers each way.
Some days, it's just a handful.  I'm glad it's a full sized coach,
even though the loads have been in the minibus or extended van range.
One problem is, during busy times, when it may be used more,
either the Southwest Chief or the Heartland Flyer are sold out, or at a higher price.
Maybe, during peak periods, they should protect a number of seats on each train for the thruway passengers?
