Passenger Trains > #449 Today( Sigh !)

#449 Today( Sigh !)

Should have left Worcester, MA by this time but Amtrak is indicating a Service Disruption. No departure time shown for South Station
and the Track A Train Map does not show #449. The words "no active status" appear when you access Track A Train. I wonder if the train even left
South Station. Busses anyone ?

Maybe the broken down 48 of yesterday never deadheaded east of Albany.

Correct. There was no point in running it other than equipment positioning, which given how late it was at Rensselaer, would have been futile.

And one cannot blame a late 449 today delaying eastbound # 448. # 448 departed Albany 17 mins late, was 50 mins late at
Worcester tonight and ETA Boston about 8:40 pm(39 mins late)..I'm wondering if some freight train added to 448's time as it headed
eastbound.
