Passenger Trains > North County Transit District - Radio channels/dispatchingDate: 01/16/17 09:55 North County Transit District - Radio channels/dispatching Author: MW810 Does the North County Transit Districtactually own any of the rails that the Coaster runs on, or dispatches trains on this line, or its it still all BN?
Date: 01/16/17 11:53 Re: North County Transit District - Radio channels/dispatching Author: John North county owns the trackage in San Diego county. I believe the county line is just north of San Onofre. Coaster trains run only as far north as Oceanside; Metrolink trains use North County tracks from the county line to Oceanside.

Chris Date: 01/16/17 12:20 Re: North County Transit District - Radio channels/dispatching Author: Phantom_of_Cajon NCTD dispatches from San Diego Depot to CP Songs, though they own the rail line to County Line. Metrolink dispatches from CP Songs to County Line.

Just as much as I still hear SF or Santa Fe when I'm back in CA, and not BNSF :) Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I am scratching my head trying to figure out what > and where the OP is talking about, since the > Burnlington Northern Railroad never came anywhere > near California, let alone San Diego. |
