Passenger Trains > Former VP Biden

Mentioned several times during news coverage of the inauguration now former VP Joe Biden enroute via motorcade to Union Station and will Amtrak home to Wilmington.

CNN showed him boarding an Acela train about 12:53pm.

Trump also included fixing railroads in his speech. Assume he means passenger service as freight lines are private. All sounds good but where will the money come from?

Think I read that flying as a requirement of the Secret Service.

CNN showed a good piece of Biden walking by and boarding  Acela.  Think towards first forward car.  Would that be First Clas?

It is a well known fact that Biden often took Amtrak home no matter what your Twitter account says.

Option A) Close tax loopholes, cut useless/wasteful programs.

Option B) Incentivize private development of infrastructure & operations via tax credits to Class I's.

I personally saw Biden travelling g to DC and getting on Acela in Wilmington with SS detail. Was in 2011/2012/2013 time period. Would need to check my pictures.

There have been regular reports on TO of Joe Biden using the Amtrak whle VP.

The secret service likes to use varied means of transportation and various routes to keep up an element of surprise. Or as much surprise as a 10 car motorcade with police escort will provide.  In Wilmington, the motorcade would assemble at the station a half hour before he arrived.  Which would suggest to a smart terrorist....

Former VP Biden takes Amtrak from  Washington DC to Wilmington DE after the parade in DC.  Wish he had run against Trump, may have won. Don't think Trump even knows what Amtrak is!

ExVPOTUS boarded the Busniness Class car of an Acela train.
 

For what they paid for all those flights, he could have had a PV run as a seperate special back to Wilmington.
Why didn't they even offer a PV on the back of one of the regional trains?
