Passenger Trains > Amtrak Cascades 508 with CREX unit today

Amtrak 505 (southbound section earlier today) and 508 featured CREX 1337 as propulsion through Shedd (Orygun) moments ago. This after I missed the Siemens unit on a test run yesterday on nearly the same train.

Don't all the Talgos have those "wings" on the end car roofs?

the two new sets ( the Fuglies), don't have wings.  Helps the train blend with the cab car.  It would help the other end though, until the new (F-125s?) to be delivered this year.  They should match the cars quite well.

They are getting the new Siemens SC44 Chargers on this route. 
I think there a couple of Units being tested on the Corridor right now.

We are getting 8 of the Chargers. IDOT 4611 is the test unit assigned to the Cascades right now.

Coming home this evening, passed a BNSF local power set at Willbridge yard toting Amtrak 467.  She is probably the reason behind the CREX unit on the 508 yesterday (Cuaght it in Albany yesterday BTW!).  Most likely a mechanical failure.
