Thanks for the photo, Boilingman.  Where's the snow?  Seem like a lot less than when I rode CZ throught in January.

Our elevation, 3 to 4000', is kind of the line of scrimmage for snow.  It comes and goes all winter.  Gulf of Alaska storms deliver it and Pacific storms erase it. 
We just went through a series of Pacific storms.

At Donner Pass elevation, the snow depth now is likely approaching 20 feet.
