Passenger Trains > Rebuilt Metra F40PH 217Date: 03/03/17 10:31 Rebuilt Metra F40PH 217 Author: csxtravis700 Caught this rebuilt Metra F40PH northbound on Q596 headed to Chicago. Rebuilt at Patterson, Georgia. Noticed on Metra Roster they only go up to 216. Any information on what engine this previous was?

This will be the third F40PH in the new paint that I am aware of. The others are 183 and 184. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/04/17 10:35 by kevink. (Along with METX 200) Thats the only F40PH that I'm aware of that was down there if in fact they are renumbering.

Metra has owned it for a few years now- they used it for parts when they did the first F40PH-3 rebuilds back in 2009-2012. Saw it a few times when I was down past down.

Regardless of heritage, locomotives assigned to UP lines require ATS equipt units/cab cars. Posted from Android Date: 03/04/17 10:39 Re: Rebuilt Metra F40PH 217 Author: kevink trainjunkie Wrote:
