These days too many folks forget that this is the world wide web , The What,--Where--When--and why is far from obvious for many folks like me. Thank you in advance for helping the rest of us to understand the meaning of your report. ----- Daniel Date: 03/28/17 11:51 Re: NS OCS Train Heading West by The Station Inn Author: USNChief When I saw the subject I thought
NS = Norfolk Southern ? OCS = Officer Candadate School ? The Station Inn = Some hotel or restaurant somewhere along a railroad somewhere in the English speaking world ? Didn't make much sense to me. Ret. Navy Chief Bob Jensen Manteno, IL Date: 03/28/17 12:58 Re: NS OCS Train Heading West by The Station Inn Author: howeld Everyone here should know what NS and OCS is. If not then now you know.

Actually - no one has clarified that yet, but agree - that's pretty basic! NS = Norfolk Southern OCS = Office Car Special Now that that is out of the way = how about notifications BEFORE instead, just went bys! Can't blame anyone if they've been sworn to secrecacy or if they simply happened to know nothing other that - hey, look what just went by, but sure miss the days of getting those great heads up to plan by. Not that I was about to take the day off and head over to Harrisburg, but some might have - and some might be further down the as of yet unstated route. /Mitch Date: 03/28/17 13:27 Re: NS OCS Train Heading West by The Station Inn Author: PRR1361 FYI, "OCS" came about in Conrail days.
