That pic of the airliner taking off over the CZ cars is quite symbolic....

The last two cars look like the Evelyn Henry and the Warren R. Henry.  Beautiful cars, inside and out.

The CZ cars are three of the four that are for sale, being sold as a set. Let's all hope the buyer keeps them together and continues to make them available for public trips.

The Silver Lariat and Solarium are scheduled to be on the N&W 611 trips starting April 8th out of North Carolina. I have my ticket for a ride in  the Solarium April 22.

SWA taking off over is both symbolic and doable.  Before SWA started flying out of Norfolk, I made connections at Baltimore/Washington-Thurgood Marshall using
Amtrak from Newport News, Va.

The Northeast corridor has usable connections with airports for Washington National,  Dulles, BWI_TM, Newark,  Providence, RI,  and South Station, Boston.

A planned trip has group of 4 taking a Norfolk, Newport News to Boston trip and back on Amtrak.   SWA fares out of Norfolk are not what they used to be.
