That is not related to the discussion of this forum. Please spare your fellow members such a personal insult to their beliefs.

Getting back on-topic, try http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/amtk/amtk.html .

Matt, Matt... you are normally so cool. How can nine inocuous character spaces amongst the gigabytes of trivia in this forum be considered a personal insult?

Since were all friends on this board, show your goodwill by telling this guy how to model the Lakeshore. Bob

Thanks, but the facts remain that religious comments are inappropriate here and that I am insulted. If I want religion, I\'ll go to a place to discuss that. I come to this site to ESCAPE religion (a large source of strife and turmoil in the world today) by meeting people who are supposedly willing to put aside their differences to talk trains. To smugly insert religious slogans into unrelated material is to spit on the sanctity of religion itself. Sorry if we don\'t agree on that.

I\'m not personally offended by kcarden\'s Christian calling card, but agree with Matt that it\'s inappropriate in a topical forum like this. Imagine someone signing his or her posts with "there is no god" or a similar atheist message, and you can see the issue.

Funny thing going on here. Sorta paralells most of the far left, and far right, where freedom of speech etc only applies when it suits the individual most prone to cry foul when it doesn\'t coincide with his or her beliefs/feelings, whatever. You are correct in that adding John 3:16 to his electronic signature had nothing to do with trains. But, niether did your rant against it. Which do you think is most abusive to the premise that all words here must include a reference to a train, his use of 4 letters (John) and two numbers (3:16), or your two fairly good sized paragraphs spread over two posts? Dont like it? Pass it by like you would anything else an individual posts that you have no interest in, a scolding is not neccessary. Of course, it\'s not neccessary now either, but I thought I\'d say something anyway. Great country we live in, being able to say what you want, isn\'t it???

Gee, don\'t conservatives ever fight for property rights anymore? Lest we forget, this site is PRIVATE PROPERTY and has strict guidelines governing use of this private site. As a condition to use this site, you\'ve impicitly agreed to the rules, and yet you\'re betraying them. Thus, the First Amendment does not apply.

There are lots of interesting issues right now concerning free speech and the internet. I think that it is interesting how some people want to take the offensive (and the time) to rant about inappropriate posts and spam. I, for one, find that the delete key and the "next" and "ignore" functions work just fine. This board is well focused and moderated compared to many of the boards I read. Bob

somewhere I have pics of the last broadway coming
into Chicago, around Sept 9th or 10th in 1995. I
can try and dig them out if the original poster
is interested. I think I got shots of every car.
I may have some of the westbound into Chicago a
few days earlier as well. I rode the train out
to Fostoria and back a few days before they quit
running it.
