Now there\'s an angle we seldom see in TRAINS or RAILFAN! Nice shot.

Where did you land after you fell?

I like how your surfer F59PHI has the nose coming off minus the dampening rubber like all of the other F59PHI\'s out there. I assume it happens after they are broken in with that charactersitic rough ride. Even the Amtrak California rebuilds up here (months old) are back to normal minus the rubber and smooth ride.

We were heading south.... the Surfliners skirt the Atlantic Ocean for about seven miles between Irvine and Tustin.

Oh... Then, shouldn\'t they be called the Atlantic Surfliners? :)

I don\'t really like correcting anybody but, it skirts The Pacific Ocean between San Clemente and Solana Beach. That\'s a little more than seven miles! :)

BNSF9999...I\'m usually the one being corrected!

Thats northbound in San Clemente, just past the State Park, riding along the Pacific Ocean. Up ahead 3 miles is my house. I\'m really hoping I\'ll be able to see it in the game!!! If not, here\'s hoping to see me in my white chevrolet pacing alongside when it runs along Camino Capistrano until the tracks turn inland.

And I thought the conductors had all the fun as they smashed the stairs down on the opened doors of the old Amfleets along that stretch at ~55mph.
Wishing I could have the same view!
