International Railroad Discussion > Steve Singer RIPDate: 03/22/14 08:36 Steve Singer RIP Author: DWBrown To the narrow gauge railfans,
I have received some sad news from Barbara Singer, wife of Steve Singer. She asked me to pass on the news that Steve died in his sleep last Friday of a sudden heart attack. She did not pass on any details of the funeral arrangements, but I believe that his burial and visitation has already taken place. Steve and Barbara were regular travelers around the world to visit many narrow gauge railroads. My wife and I were lucky to have known them for nearly 14 years from the many trips that we shared. Steve was particularily fond of the Old Patagonian Express in Patagonia, Argentina and looked forward to returning in near future. I recently visited Colombia to check on the narrow gauge in Colombia for a future charter trip. Steve had been very keen on seeing this operation and we had been thinking of him while there. Please keep Barbara in your hearts while she struggles with this tragidy. Dale Brown www.wingsandrails.com |
