Chile Earthquake and Railroads in Area

Just heard from both FCAB and SQM and operations are normal after Tuesday's 8.2 and Wednesday's 7.6 earthquakes to the north of the railroads, not to mention countless aftershocks which are continuing.

Those are big earthquakes.

And we got a 5.7 a couple of nights ago centered here in Santiago. Around midnight and we slept through the entire minute or so. No damage anywhere in the city or surroundings. Just another day along the shaky Pacific Rim.

Alan, thanks for sharing your earthquake with Peru. Maybe sometime we can return the favor. We really live in a land of Rock and Roll.

Dale,
We, Japan and Indonesia among others around the Pacific Rim. The real biggie has yet to come up north in Chile, according to geologists both here and in the USA.
