Trolley car museum Australia
Author: bakersfielddave

we visited a trolley museum in the City of Brisbane yesterday

an interesting range of car types dating from the 1890s to the 1960s

the system was standard gauge 600 volts and closed completely about 45 years ago

the cars are in excellent preservation and all running under their own power

car 554 was built in 1964 with resilient wheels car 429 in the late 1930s

They all seem to following Los Angeles's lead on this.
Spend boatloads of money reconstructing a system that shouldn't have been dismantled in the first place!

In the first video, as #341 enters the tangent, it appears that the rear truck pivots at its front axle.
