International Railroad Discussion > End of the line at PanamaDate: 04/14/14 07:51 End of the line at Panama Author: photobob Alco 903 of the Panama Canal Railroad has just completed a journey from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Its trip from Colon on the Atlantic side of the canal to Panama City a distance of around 50 miles. It's about to run around its train to return to Colon. This was the Summer of 1965. I was stationed in Panama for two years so I spent many an hour on these trains.
