Does anyone know the train count, ruling grades, and type of signals on this line, if any? Does it have welded rail? Thanks, John in Wilm DE

John,

I have no current knowledge on train counts on this line.

This is the old SP de Mexico main line and it does climb on a 2% grade to Encina, which is now a suburb of Nogaalas. The line then drops at 2%, 1.9% and 1% to Imuris. The res of the line to Empalme is 1/2% or less.

Hope this helps.

J.

TWC dark territory south of Nogales, all the way to Guadalajara, where CTC starts south to Irapuato and eventually Mexico City. Weleded rail, yes, most of it. Some parts still jointed. All track south of Nogales 112Ib/yd-115Ib/yd rail.
