Rail Trip to Copper Canyon in 1979

1. At Los Mochis a train waits for departures to points east
2. At first the train runs in the flatland and the tracks are straight.
3. Soon the tracks hit the foothills.

4. After the spiral tunnel you see the bridge you just crossed below and the one you are to above it.
5. We left Los Mochis early but the Copper Canyon was already partly in the evening shadow.
6. At San Rafael the train stops in the midst of a walking ethnic museum of hand-made baskets.

Those beautiful shots of today a few threads ago, made me dig into the 39 year old boxes.
