Thanks, Fritz in HSV, AL, USA Date: 11/20/14 20:08 Re: Another Downunder Video Author: RogersPass Hi Justin,
Great Video. That track the Passage train was on, Is it around Wudinna at all please?? Cheers Brian.. Date: 11/21/14 19:47 Re: Another Downunder Video Author: Poker2662 Very nice video. I especially liked the 'flying' intermodal train at Bolivar -- a fast freight with a cool mix of intermodal and other stuff.
Matt Arnold Bolivar, Ohio Date: 11/21/14 20:25 Re: Another Downunder Video Author: cchan006 Enjoyed the video very much! Interesting stuff, from short passenger trains, passenger car mixed with freights, doublestacks, and classic-looking cab units leading trains. Thanks for posting this and the photo report.

We don't have any set whistle codes in Australia. As for what looks like the small passenger train, it was a track recording/ inspection train running on the Pinnaroo branch line which is standard gauge. Wudinna is on G&W's isolated narrow gauge, Eyre Peninsula division. Date: 11/25/14 19:50 Re: Another Downunder Video Author: MitchGDRMCo Rather few actually...
Date: 11/30/14 08:31 Re: Another Downunder Video Author: FiveChime Nice sounding Nathan P5s and Leslie S5 horns. Too bad they are not used on a regular basis by regulation.
Thanks for posting. Regards, Jim Evans Date: 11/30/14 17:42 Re: Another Downunder Video Author: AussieGWAdriver Thanks Jim.
It is really up to the driver to how much they use the horn. Cheers, Justin |
