International Railroad Discussion > Map question

I was looking for a resouce such as the Steam Powered Video atlas' that cover North America for other parts of the world such as Europe, Africa, and South America. Does anyone know of any good online or printed maps that show current, and preferrably historic, rail lines on other continents?

For current and recently closed rail lines the best on-line reference I have found is http://www.bueker.net/trainspotting/maps.php

For printed maps the UK is well covered for both current and historical lines. Schweers - Walls Verlag has excellent current Rail Atlases covering Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and Slovenia. The Italian and Slovenian Atlases are a combined volume.
